About Mount Golda
Mount Golda Cemetery is located in the residential part of Huntington Station. It is positioned in the perfect location to offer a private and comforting resting place, and is a fixture in the community. Visiting relatives’ graves is a breeze, without the inconvenience of traveling to a remote location.
Mount Golda Cemetery first opened in 1930, and its central location and dedicated staff have served the community well ever since. While easily accessible, it still allows mourners to maintain a degree of privacy, which is crucial while mourning.
As a privately owned cemetery, burial sites are not necessarily open to the public, as is the case with other Jewish cemeteries. Cemetery plots are not necessarily available, and are generally limited to those who are members of the Huntington Jewish Center. Anyone seeking to make burial accommodations and reserve a plot or space should speak directly with this organization.
Located directly off of Old Country Road, navigating to the cemetery is simple. It is also adjacent to the Northern State Parkway.
There is also a columbarium, which houses the ashes of cremated individuals.
Hours of Operation
Mount Golda Cemetery’s daily operating hours are from 8:00 am- 3:00 pm. The office and grounds are closed on Saturdays.
